My name is Hannah Hartness! I graduated from Penn State University in May 2023, with a major in Agribusiness Management, a specialty in Animal Science, and a minor in Agronomy.

Before I went to college, I went to Catoctin High School where I was a varsity cheerleader and extremely involved with the FFA program. FFA was my first taste of the agricultural industry and I haven’t looked back since.

At PSU, I focused heavily on small and family run farms, precision agriculture, and overall how farming is evolving.

During one of my classes, I had to “create” an agricultural business, thus making Hartness Agri-Services, LLC. I pitched this business idea during the PSU Ag Springboard, where I won first place. I have a passion for the agricultural industry, so this business idea just made sense to me.

Overall, I am extremely blessed to have been given the opportunities that I have been given! I want to help farmers and other agriculturalists thrive within an industry that is constantly innovating.
